Metaverse is an accepted Astronomical theory that states that for every action that happens in this universe there is an equal and opposite reaction in another universe. So, say a man is in poverty and decides not to go college. In the metaverse theory in a seperate universe he would have gone to college and made the decisions to escape poverty.

I'm not sure. Maybe alt. As do nothing in the present state because whatever is supposed to happen will happen.
