Oh god. Here we go again.

According to Britain, I shouldn't post any cases I write because I suck (no duh Kyle, you know that.) So he said "just take a file I sent you and use it." So I looked for the shortest case I could find, and then I posted it, because once again, according to Britain, the purpose of this is to first learn HOW to debate before I focus on the material.

Lol, but Kyle, I feel extremely bad for doing that to you :(. I would never rip you off on purpose :(. So let me delete that case. And I, with the help of all of you if possible, will write my own case, completely from scratch. And I promise never to do that again. I promise. Just down go all Mirnus on me, because that gets annoying.

Anyhow, this thing is taking way to long to get started. So I'll come back in a week or so and hopefully have a decent case put together (by myself!).

Christine: You're not learning anything by delaying your rounds further and further, you're too young of a debater (according to britian) to try to write your own case, focus on skill development. Additionally, kyle shouldn't be p'ed off because he didn't write this case and all he did was copy and paste a few cards and moved them around (doubt it; this is basically the same format as the UC berkley EHS aff) which really isn't doing any work, doing work would be highlighting down cards which he didn't even do, so in reality, you didn't steal anything from him. Just run this case and continue the round, you won't get better wasting time with non-sense like this.

Quoted for truth.

Also, I never told you to not write your own case, I highly encourage it. However, I don't think it would be the brightest idea to run it just YET. I'll get on AIM later tonight though. Call me later if you need to Christine.

I'll repost this because it got pretty buried. Lol.

CX:
Your social issues evidence is describing poverty world wide, i.e. to end it you have to provide education world wide, how does the plan spill over and do this? Also what is the warrant? (QUOTED FROM MIGUEL)

Is the federal government key? Why?

Will you defend the rhetoric you used in the 1AC?

What is EHS exactly?

Will you defend fiat? (If the judge votes yes, does the plan get enacted)

Just answer the CX and keep the round moving.

CX Answers:

While the social issuess evidence describes poverty worldwide, there is no intention to spill over and solve for poverty worldwide. This evidence is simply there to reinforce the idea that poverty can lead to negative consequences like overcrowding and polluting, and because of that this plan is there to decrease it.
I'm not sure what you mean by 'warrant'.

The federal government is key in this issue because, through the Recovery act, it has started this EHR program where, according to the evidence, it has been successful. However, it needs to be expanded and funded more, which can be made possible by the fed gov.

Yes, I'll defend the rhetoric..

The EHS is a program designed to upgrade the quality/availability of better education for toddlers of lower income families, which will in turn give them the opportunity of a better life.

Yes, I'll defend fiat.
