1. How is literacy key to heg?
job requirements today in the military consist of being able to use a computer and etc., which contributes to increased military readiness which is key to heg; also people don’t get enrolled in military because of lack of high school edu

2. Why would domestic education solve an external terrorist attack?
the evidence talks about how ehs reduces crime and drug use, and High crime rates results in police and FBI overstretch—precludes us from working on the war on terror, also crime is a major factor of illegal drug use, and Profits from illegal drug trade fund terrorist groups – like the Taliban. With High crime rates and the risk of terrorism risk police overstretch now is the key time to make changes in education to address crime because attempts to reduce crime trade off with the war on terror.

3. How much more funding do EHS programs require to be effective?
amount is not specified; enough to substantially increase the number of locations

4. How does the aff define the United States federal government?
the federal government of the united states, but the plan would probaly deal with the departments of HHS and Education

5. Will you defend links to spending if you can't outline a specific dollar amount?
yes

6. Where are the warrants in Kzad?
ldrship key to prevent future nuke war

7. Is infinite economic growth possible or desirable?
not possible and plan only acts as a beneficial stimulus to econ

8. Will you defend the rhetorical and representation stance of the 1ac?
be more specific?

9. What is an EHS?
early head start; a preschool-type program for children under the age of 4, aimed for families in poverty

10. In your fed key card (Kildee '9) does it state that all branches of the federal government is key, or just general federal action?
it makes reference to the recent stimulus, and how it was key then and still is (congress and pres)

2. Will you defend your rhetoric as per the 1ac?

3. I asked for the warrants in Kzad, not the claims. What are his warrants?

4. So the Kildee evidence says Congress and the Executive would co-operate on the plan, right?

1. Stabalizing the econ, and putting it on a track of growth is good, because economic decline is not as per the 1ac, econ growth leads to an increase in democracy, reduces war, leads to social and political progress etc.

2. What rhetoric?

3. Kzad says a world in which the us is the leader, the world would be more receptive to democracy, and the rule of law, and free markets, he says we could deal with the worlds problems together like prolif, and conflicts, rogue states, avoid another cold war

4. the evidence suggests policy which is enacted by the usfg; congress passes law, exec enforces it. if you consider that to be co-op, then sure.

Rhetoric. Words, representations of thoughts and ideas. Will you defend the rhetoric you used in the 1ac. All of it. If not, which parts will you not defend?
