Anyways....
the term love is pretty stretched....people abuse that term because they don't understand it or what to really call love. People don't think enough to say that they know what love really means....and it differs for each person. It's a set of traits and actions that create the utmost happiness between two people...and love is NOT love if it's not shared between the people involved.

and yeah it does have to be shared...as you remember that's why I earlier defined it as an emotional connection with another person

There's a lot of difference between "love" which is the term abused by idiots that think that it will get them anywhere and the actual term love where it is that shared bond between things that have the virtuous ties between each other.

Now that's the weak thing to say, Vern. To say that you don't believe in love because you don't have it or you haven't found it yet is completely ignorant of the concepts of reality. Love is a subjective emotion....it is different for everyone.

Agreed. Saying that it's "love" but not having it be permanent...yeah, that's not love. Not by my philosophy. It may seem like it, but if the emotions aren't mutual and strong enough to last, then it's not love. It's a strong "like" which most just consider as the term love. I could go into chapter upon chapter of how horrible people abuse that term, but I won't just to spare you all the reading.

please do spare us all...it would be so dull and boring...haha...but I agree with you...if it's love then you'll always love that person...I don't think love can ever be taken back...and I suppose that it can happen at first sight...and I take back what was said in earlier posts about my outlook on love...I was being dumb
